Hi if you are ever near or are in Kingsville Texas, you need to stop at Harrel's Drug Store in Historic downtown. It is right across the street from the famous King Ranch Saddle shop. This is the last old time drug store with a soda fountain left in the area.
The store has been owned and operated by the Harrel family since the early 1900's. This has become the place to stop and shop for years. Nick Harrel the owner and pharmacist has allowed us (Cowboys & Kidillacs) to display part of our collection for all to see and enjoy.
The drug store has been a stopping place for collectors and others in the hobby to have a shake or burger at the soda fountain while on their way to the lower valley of Texas and on to Mexico for the winter. We usually have 10 to 12 cars on display and we are working on a bigger display in the building next door.
Kingsville has lots of history and sights to see, if you are down this way, stop in and visit.
