Hello Linda

My pedal cars at currently on loan to the Stondon Transport Museum in Lower Stondon, Bedfordshire, England.
The museum is a private collection of cars, Motorcycles, military vehicles, buses and fire engines that is open to the public.
After another poor summer in England that saw many car shows cancelled due to record rainfalls i decided to loan the cars to the museum for 12 months so at least they will be seen by the public, the cars are displayed at charity car shows to raise money for local good causes, The Luton Festival of transport being one such show that raises thousands of pounds for local concerns such as the Keech cottage hospice for Sick and terminally ill children.

The cars are as follows,

Against the wall is "Brum" a modern pedal car based on a very popular childrens series that follows Brum on his adventures.

The large red and white car next to Brum is a late 1950's "Bambino" pedal car made in Dessau, Germany by Werner Bachtinger, this was restored to look like the "Christine" Plymouth Fury.

The large white car on the right of the German car is a 1957 Tri-ang "60", this was restored to original condition.

The blue car is a 1968 Tri-ang Bermuda with a Tri-ang trailer from the same period and were restored to original condition.

The red car on the left of the Bermuda is a 1968 Mobo Pathleader.

The white car on the right of Bermuda is a 1962 Tri-ang "Royal Prince" re-named "Golden Prince" due to the radiator and hubcaps. This car was restored as a Brooklands style racing car in memory to the pioneers of motorsport who created the sport and those who unfortunatly lost there lives doing so.

I hope you can use the photo's and information.

Regards

Colin

p.s Just in case Dan is curious the hubcaps and grill on the Golden Prince are copper plated, polished then clear coated, it really makes the car look like the old 1920's style racers.
