If you missed this one…. you missed a fantastic time!!!!!

Leroy Horning and Jeff Blose put on a very impressive show. This was our first year to attend the show, and boy have we missed a lot in the past years. The weather was very nice. It even got a bit warm a couple of the days.

Leroy had us set up inside of his building ( museum ). There were collectors set up everywhere. There was always a steady stream of pedal car collectors coming through. It was great to get to visit with old friends, and to make new ones also. Face it, once a year is just not enough for all of us toy collectors to visit with one and other. People showed up from everywhere. They came from Florida , North Carolina . California, Tennessee, Missouri, Michigan, New Zealand, Great Britain, and many other states and countries. We even had Gator show up for another show. He is the one driving the tow truck. I think this Camelian  is going to need a visa soon.

The wheeling and dealing was brisk and worth watching. If anyone tells you that the Pedal car hobby is slow or even dead, you best not believe him or her. It is strong and getting stronger all the time.

The 5th was the official Open House at Leroy’s. I would only venture to guess that there were at least 1000 people come through that evening. I know that our parts booth was non stop all night. Some old friends came by to get parts, but there were many collectors that we had never met until that night. They were all excited about the hobby, and anxious to get parts for their newest project.

We would like to thank Leroy Horning and Jeff Blose for their wonderful hospitality, and a very fun show. If any of you have missed going to this open house, then get ready for next year. You will not be disappointed.
